Lawless Admiralty Archaeological Site, August 2025
As a part of an archaeological group under Dr. Henry Walton Jones Jr., you’ve been tasked with retrieving information pertaining to the alliance of corsairs known as the Lawless Admiralty.
In the waning years of the Golden Age of Piracy, whispers told of a cursed treasure buried beneath the waves near Caidin Cay. The legends spoke of three ships in this alliance:
- The Burning Triton
- The Sable Rose
- The Widow’s Wake
These ships exchanged fire prior to vanishing in early summer of 1712 for unknown reasons.
A salt-stained logbook bound in tarred leather has been uncovered, along with a series of artifacts from a variety of shipwreck sites in the area. Amongst them are strange tide charts, fragments of coordinates, and poetic rules that speak in mystified languages of cannon arcs and tides.
It’s on you to find out what cryptic messages were passed between the three ships before fading into the history books.
